BORED!! How could you get bored riding the trails on your handsome
steed. ;-D >>

Dear Lauren, thanks for the complement! David IS pretty, I'll grant anyone
that--that's why I sign off "Trish & "pretty David"--but your Kyla is a real
looker too, as I've told you! (gee, too bad David's a gelding--oh well, when
pretty people get together, the kids always turn out ugly, too horses as nice
looking as Kyla and David would probably have baby mules--).
As to the other comment, sigh, alas and alack, there are not very many
endurance riders near where I live. Or at least I've not yet met them. Most
of the people around here ride big old tanky looking QHs and like to just
amble on down the road or trail. Unless I ride by myself, a lot of times I
have to put up with ambling on down the road at their pace. You know,
staring at the same little bit of scenery for 15 minutes as it slides SLOWLY
past!
In fact, the way I got interested in endurance was from listening to my
friends complain--"Trish you ride way to fast, how can you stand all that
trotting, sheesh your poor horses, you really ought to try endurance riding
if your just gonna go like that . . ."---well, it finally occured to me after
getting increasing numbers of these complaints that I WAS RIDING WITH THE
WRONG BUNCH!!! And here I am!--or will be, next year, when I have a trailer!
But until then, could you please pass that magazine there . . .<g>
