I opened up the velcro I was very surprised to find plastic astro-turf
used as the inserts! I can't imagine what the benefit would be and have
never seen this. Anyone else experienced with this?

I replaced the astro-turn panels with felt - but am curious if anyone
else actually uses the plastic grass!

hi stacy.. an old email.. this pad concept is not new.. its was and is sold
by a natrc rider barb harvey in tx..
called the harvey pad.. can call barb at 409-384-4978

easy to make one.. get some astro turff.. the door mat type.. and cut it up
to fit in any pocket pad..
i have used my own version for a few years.. only works on saddles that are
wide and large for the horse..
the green side goes down.. the grass fingers sort of hold the saddle up and
they flex back and forth.. a back massage while riding..

has worked well for my mare and a wide tree sr saddle..
even though i still like the skito equalizer.. i have a fit problem.. since
the mare is getting older and all the saddles that use to fit dont any more..

its a novel idea.. that really does work.
