Well said!
I don't like having my computer contaminated by porno-spam either. I'm
sorry that you got flamed for protesting. What about your (our) First
Amendment rights?

Some time ago there were some suggestions for tracing this rubbish to the
server that sent it and getting the originator kicked off the service. I'm
sorry I didn't see your original post. On busy days, or when I get too much
mail, my delete key gets a heavy workout. If you switch to the non-digest
form of ridecamp, you should be able to delete posts one by one so that 20
pages of smut doesn't sit around waiting for "innocent" eyes to find it.
However, given the amount of detailed sexual information that children are
exposed to in school, tv, newspapers and magazines, they don't stay innocent
for long. I have seen 12 and 13 year olds in the ER that knew more about
sex and its various perversions than I knew even *after* graduation from
medical school.

Does the digest need to contain all the posts that come over ridecamp? At
the risk of depriving someone of the right to read spam (who knows, it might
contain something they have been waiting all their lives to get their hands on!)

Hang in there and please continue to stick up for what you feel is right.

>Coward. At least I took my lumps like a man, even though I am a woman.

Good one!

>It worries me that you are out there in endurance riding land. Your threats
>don't scare me..but they do concern me................

I wonder if someone posted the offensive article on ridecamp deliberately to
see if he would get a reaction. In any case, it does make me wonder if I
want to be riding alone down some remote trail with one of these yobbos.
