It seems to me that well-soaked hay cubes feed during vet checks would be a good way to keep the gut moving and, at the same time, prevent choke, as chopped/soaked hay would go down easier that dry hay in an already mildly dehydrated horse. What do you guys think. Is this unnessary or worse, a bad idea?
