sport saddle

Hi, I have not done endurance riding but I really enjoy reading the list and
learn so much from it. The sport saddle sounds very interesting and I am
considering buying one for my walker/saddlebred. He has high withers, and a
relatively short, slightly swayed back with a lot of movement in it. I have
been using an older Orthoflex prototype endurance saddle with skitto pad
which he seems to be comfortable in except that after a few hours of riding
around in the hills I will see soft swellings in the loin area. They will be
gone in a day or so but I would like for them not to be there at all. So my
question is for people with sport saddle experience. Do you think it would
fit a high withered horse, and how does it do with horses that have a lot of
movement in their backs? Also, is it comfortable if you do a lot of sitting
in the saddle?

Thanks for your help.
