Availability of riding trails in San Luis Obispo

I thought I might be able to get some help from anyone who lives in
San Luis Obispo County . My husband and I are thinking of moving into
that area probably Paso Robles and the most important thing for me in
making a final decision would be the amount and quality of the horseback
riding trails, Any input would be greatly appreciated. I'd like to know
how crowded the trails get, do we have to share with lots of mountain
bikes, hikers? Are there lots of public trails verses private trails?
Is there any real estate for sale where one would have access to trails
without having to trailer? What is the footing like?

Thanks very much
