The following table is from CDC. It does not give have information by
species. I did see a table from NY for I (if I recall correctly) was for
1996: 3 horses, 27 cats (the most for domestic animals) and a 800 or so
racoons - 1000 or so overall.

Remember to look at these numbers with regard to the possible wild animal
population in each state - don't compare Deleware directly with Texas.
