>>Usually I lurk but had to speak up.

I have seen complaints about Trail Blazer.
I have seen complaints about the Cosequin Challenge.
I have seen complaints about the ROC.
I have seen complaints about SPAM.
I have seen bashing of the Kanavys.
I have seen nastiness towards Teddy.
All on this list.....

How does the negativity affect you?<<

Tish, it's not all negative! Did you read any of the recent ride
reports about the Manzanita ride? Not a negative post, and lots of
supportive comments made about the ride management. I've seen plenty of
supportive posts of other rides in other regions as well.

Your post goes back quite a ways, covering all the controversies in the
last year or so. A lot more information has passed through this portal,
informational as well as event-related. To be a distance rider requires
a lot of passion, don't you think? And it comes through in our posts.
Our instant interaction makes us the the leading edge/grass roots of our
sport, as evidenced by the Cosequin discussion subsequently covered in
EN and resulting in new rules about cash prizes.

(I'd like to thank those who have taken the time to post their rider and
ride mgmt experiences, competition and training strategies and
feed/product choices here.)
