.Connie, when I broke my arm four years ago, my wrist was very stiff when
the cast came off, and, in addition to some physical therapy, I rubbed DMSO
on it for about two weeks. It really helped and my hand didn't fall off.
I would recommend using gloves and putting it on with cotton balls. Don't
rub it in hard; just lightly put it on...I used it once a day. Betty
