I too wonder why AERC does not prorate their dues. I would have
done this, since I did not renew earlier this year...I was not
competing, and $65 is alot to pay just for the magazine (not that it
isn't excellent).

We just started competing again this fall but I was not however going to
pay $65 for the remaining 3 months of this year. I would have gladly
paid a prorated amount, and AERC would have had a little more money!

I don't think the $10 per horse is too unreasonable, I am curious
however if a new member would have to pay a $65 memebership fee AND a
$10 horse fee?
