There was a gap in the published schedule for Brannaman during the
May and June time fram eof this year (1997). When he was in the Los
Angeles area in April, I asked about that. That time frame was for
Buck to be the technical advisor for the robert Redford movie. Whether
he will or will not be a double, I do not know.

Based on something that I say a month or two ago, the movie is supposed
to begin showing in the Los Angeles area on Dec 12. Someone more connected
with that industry might be better able to comment as to how firm an
date stated in advance typically is.

Buck is grouped by many folks into what is called Natural Horsemanship.
He has several videos. The only book that I am aweare of is one that
parrallels one of his videos on doing ground work with the horse. (I have
not seen the book. I have only seen one of his videos which was on Ranch
Roping. I was favorably impressed with that video. I have seen him in
clinics numerous times and am very favorably impressed. He has been
responsible for starting over 4000 horses over the years. Apparently most
of those have been through his clinics that he goes around the country
giving.

As to who the Horse Whisperer is, there seems to be many opinions regarding
that.

Enough for the moment.
