Of interest to me, concerning Orthoflex saddles is the remarkable difference
in the fit of the older Traditionals and my relative new Express Lite.

I never had a bit of problem with the old saddle (but it was stolen) but the
Express Lite causes wrinkles and obvious discomfort to the horse in the
wither area. Shimming made no difference. It has taken almost all summer to
get rid of the wrinkling caused by last years use of the saddle.

What is your experience with this. Please do not spout the rhetoric that
came from Len Brown regarding the subject. Both my wife and I are very
experienced riders (my wife on a International level in endurance) with many
thousands of miles on many horses.

The only saddle that has ever caused any back problems was the Express Lite
and did so on the several horses that it was used for.
