As far as I know, Lake Sonoma (northern CA) is a 50 mile ride only. There
is a description on the ridecamp site. This is the info available:
Usual Weather:Crisp AM Sunny PM 50 Degrees AM & 70 PM
      Distances Offer: 50 Miles only
      Ride Manager: Ruth Waltenspiel
      Usual Number of
      Riders: 100
      Typical Winnning Times
      for Each Distance:4 Hrs.
      Comments Regarding
      Roads into Camp:Paved County Roads.
      Comments Regarding
Campsite: Very small camping area. Plan on camping very close together.
      Comments Regarding
Water Availability:Lots of human and horse water.
      Comments Regarding
Trail Conditions:10% Jeep Roads & 90% trails. Ample water on trail.
Difficult Areas:Two climbs in lst 12 miles. No big climbs in the rest
of the rids. No rocks.
General Comments:10th year. Only problem is camping space is very
limited. Do not bring extra vehicles. No crew needed. Please do not bring
pens.
I would be interested in hearing from those that have done it as I will
probably be trying it this year.

Anyone know anything about this ride, other than the
fact that it's in Sonoma Co., starts at the rec. area
and is very pictureskew?
I'm contemplating it is as a first, sedate, 25 miler.
