I've found that I can use the reverse tactic. When I work with a young
horse, I'll stop for water, and wait until he's JUST about to drink and ask
him to move on. Pretty soon he'll dive in for the water so he won't miss
out. By the way, a horse that is really hot won't drink, best to stand in
the water for a while and let the water cool his blood first while he thinks
about it.
