We water from a lot of stock tanks and I picked up the habit of holding
one rein and 'lunging' him thru the mud into the water for a drink. Often
I will circle him back into the water if he doesn't drink and he has
learned to take a token sip just so I will stop pestering him about
drinking, then he is ready to move on.... cute but frustrating when I
really want him to drink.
