It's my understanding that southern Cal. has never been hit with a
hurricane. It's hard to imagine what one hasn't been exposed to. As a
resident of the Gulf Coast I'd like to point out that a hurricane is
NOT a thunderstorm. It can be a life-threatening situation not to be
ignored.
