I would just like to echo a recurring thought that seems to be gaining
momentum here: It is the fit of the saddle (to horse and rider) combined
with the balance of the saddle that makes for the best saddle for THAT
horse and rider. My husband has ridden for years and been uncomfortable in
every make and model. He recently received his new Synergist and can ride
for 7 hrs. straight WITHOUT DISCOMFORT! (to either him or the horse) then
get up and do it again the next day!!!! I am not plugging this saddle
brand (I do not like it for myself). My point is this-be open minded, try
every saddle you get the opportunity to and "listen" to what your horse
says about it!
