Teresa, I had the same problem with my Lidlocker. After about a month I lost
the visor when jogging down the trail next to my horse - I had taken the
helmet off and snapped to the saddle. When I wanted to put it back on I
noticed that both velcro parts where still on the thing but the visor was
gone. Since I was going to leave the same week with my horse for Arizona to
join a friend on the Safford Johnny Creek ride I went to our local tack
store. They had an extra Troxel Sport visor and because it was only a couple
of bugs I gave it a try. I bought heavy duty velcro and a friend glued it on
with some heavy duty glue (I think it was epoxy). This was in January and I
havn't had any problems but been very happy with my Lexington-Troxel joint
venture. The visor is actually a little bigger than the original one and the
stingy things that hook into the velcro are made out of plastic and are
riveted on.
Besides that I like the Lidlocker the best of all trail helmets because it's
lightweight, easy to adjust and my head looks the least eggy...
