While this is not directly Endurance related - it does pertain to
the SPAM we see on ridecamp and that we each receive.

The following is a part of the response I received from sprintmail.com
when I complained about receiving SPAM from one of their customers.

> Spammers may request a reply if you want to be removed from their
> mailing list. This is often used as a confirmation that the spam
> worked. Responding in any way is generally a bad idea.
