Hi group,

7:AM. Pretty dark and chilly this morning when the riders
took off. Thermometer said 38 degrees! Supposed to warm
up to mid 70's today, but partly cloudy. The trail is in
excellent shape after the rains on Wednesday - good
footing, cool temps, should be a pretty fast race.
Predicted winning time is 10 hours - with 3:15 worth
of hold time, that should put the winners in around
6 PM.

First riders are coming into VC 1 - Denise will probably
have some positions to post pretty soon. The local
amateur radio club is here doing the communications
between vetchecks and base camp, they'll be our
source of info.

I'm headed out to vet check 4 for most of the day. Denise
and Sue Summers are going to be here at the center keeping
you updated on the event - both through ridecamp and the
web page - http://www.endurance.net .

later!

Steph
