Well, I hate to brag, but Arkansas offers some beautiful riding areas, as
well as inexpensive real estate. Of course, we here in Northwest Arkansas
feel like we should be a separate state from the rest of Arkansas. In fact,
it is quite different here , with more moderate summers (but high humidity)
and nine other wonderful months. The winters are extremely rideable, we only
miss a few days for snow or ice. Fall and spring are the best.

We have wildlife management areas and national forest, as well as county
roads, in some of the backwoods areas, that are not paved and very rideable.

I guess, for me the outstanding feature is the ability to keep horses out
year around, with plenty of grass and fresh water.
