I want my books back!!!

Hey group, I need some help...

A few months ago, I loaned two books to someone out of my endurance
library. Those of you who know me know that like any card-carrying
academic, I cherish and gloat over my books like children, especially
good reference sources, so after three months of polite reminders that
none of these books are out of print and if you like them, go buy your
own, I FINALLY got books back in the mail today---but NOT my own!!!
What I got back were two cheesey, beat-up books from a "rider's guide"
series, neither of which I've ever seen before!!!

The problem is that I can't remember exactly the title of one of the two
books I actually loaned out, and before I make yet another call and
politely request MY books back, I want to be able to spell out the exact
title. I know the "mystery book" is NOT one of the Tellington,
Hollender, Paulo, Johnson or Courtney Hart books. And I do remember it
was written more about the British distance riding competitions---does
anyone remember, could this be Ann Hyland's book? Is that one titled
"Riding Long Distance"?

Part of my confusion (and to give the benfit of the doubt, maybe this
other person's as well) is coming from the fact that one of the two
cheesey books returned IS titled "Riding Long Distance" by Ann Hyland.
But while my book was a good-sized book full of photos, this edition is
only 100 pages and has no photos. Does any out there have the better
edition that they could briefly describe to me so I can hopefully figure
out if this was the second "mystery book" I loaned out? Or, is there
another book fitting this general description that maybe I've completely
forgotten about?

ARGH!!! Sorry to be babbling and sounding churlish, but I'm a little
upset that I was nice enough to loan out two very nice books and am
having to work this hard just to get them back. If anyone could help me
out here, I'd be very, very grateful...

Susan
