stifle locking

Hi,

I went to a sport horse vet seminar several years ago. The vet doing the
seminar was one of the vets doing work for the USDF and USCTA teams.

His recommendations for stifle problems were to trot up hill, stay away
from down hills, and graduate to trot cavelletti work. The ideal scenerio
would be to have a hill to trot up, a very gradual slope to walk back down.
This needs to be done for muscle strength to hold the patella in postition.

Good luck,
