I did a quick back of the envelope calculation. It is of course
statically impossible for something internal to a container to move the
container. However it is dynamically possible. If the trailer is on
level ground and the 1000 lb horse spooks and is airborne when it
impacts the wall of the trailer then as a minimum...

The horse needs to be flying at a minimum of 30 mph to topple an empty
(apart from the one horse) 6000 lb stock trailer. It needs to be doing
at least 10 mph to topple my 2 horse 2000 lb trailer.

Other variables that come into play are wall flexiblity and suspension
but you get the picture.
