Kathy;
you are confused with competition time and ride time. For example, you
have 24 hours competition time in a 100 mile ride but you have 3 hrs. of
hold time(vet checks) therefore you have 21 hrs. of ride time to finish
the ride. You must average 4.76 miles per hour to do this. reread the
bold type of Rule 5. and 5.3
