MSM is MethylSulfonylMethane.

Its legal justification is that it is a source of Sulfur for use in feeds
that are Sulfur deficient. When used in that manner, it is entirely legal
and not testable.

When used in mega-doses (>1000x above dose), MSM has anti-inflammatory
effects. In these dosages, in events controlled by AERC (American Endurance
Ride Conference) or FEI (Fédération Équestre International), MSM is testable
and prohibited.

Too many people do not understand the difference in feeding it as a source of
Sulfur and feeding it for its anti-inflammatory effects. The same substance
can be legal and illegal depending on its dosage and desired effect.

Sincerely,
Mike
