I have heard of fitting a horseshoe over the back pasterns (ends
pointing forward) so that when they kick they punish themselves.

I have never tried this, so can't really say as to whether it would work
without damaging the pasterns...though it sounds like she's damaging
herself enough anyhow....maybe worth a shot (in an old trailer!)
