<< Anyone have any experience with a horse who has an extremely high
heart rate post-ride? My friend's horse looked great during the ride,
took a while to pulse down at the end of the 50, and immediately
spiked back up to around 100 bpm where he remains today, 2 days after
the ride. He has absolutely no other symptoms and is in great
spirits.

WOW. No i hvaen't seen this in OUR horses, although our 22 year old
occasionally takes a while to come down (5-10 minutes) but once she is down
she stays down. There MUST be something going on with your horse to see that
kind of aberration. Please let us know.

Anyone else have this experience?
