more problem "collecting", are front heavy, and are more suited for
short sprints.

What about horses that are built downhill? Not just one inch but many
inches difference between croup and wither height. What is this
conformation best suited to? >>

dear Lauren, you've accidentally flipped your definitions, a "downhill"
horse's croup is taller than his withers, an "uphill" horse is vice-versa.
You are correct, a downhill horse--one who stands "rump high" as it were,
has trouble coollecting. He is built for speed--
an "uphill" horse is good for (besides pulling snowmobiles out of ditches,
Mike!) lots of lovely front end action, (Tennesee Walkers, a warmblood doing
the piaffe, etc.) a smooth and naturally balanced ride.
