Lots of questions -
1. If a horse's head is down, is his back necessarily rounded?
2. If a horse is tracking, " " " " " " " "
" "?
3. Is not engaging his hindquartes a reason so many endurance
horses have that sore area in front of the point of their hips?
4. I've been reading quite a few dressage books lately to further
my education and in prep for taking lessons. Many of the pictures
show a rider whose feet are carried way far in front of the shoulder,
hip, heel line. I find myself doing this quite frequently as it seems to
be the most comfortable way to collect my horse. Is this position
harmful over long distrances to my horse's back?
