Who was the stallion? OMAN?? are you in CA

Well- time to brag..
OMNI is doing great.. (OMAN-Magic Shadow) all egyipian sp-- mare from
Wineglass Arab/Shagya in IL.

Justa quik bio- he was 6 this Jun . Been doing dressage for 3 years.
I got him in Feb.

Working slow. but with some "effort" rides.
Did a 23 mile NATRC ride in May.. only 1 day of a 2 day novice.. was timed to
fast.. he only had about 50 miles of work over Mar Apl and May.. He did
great. for the one day.

Reat Pulse 34
Walks out strong 80 -90
Slow collected trot !20
Strong Trot 8min Mile -- 130
Have not catered or trotted out to max hr yet..
Highest noted to date 205 .. a quick gallop up one of my steep hills.

Been working him about 3 days a week for July and Aug
Worked last week for 5 days --to see what he attitude was like and if he
could take stress.
all my trails are in the mtns.. all up or down with rolling flats on top ..a
real wrooing system of trails.

did hard easy days.
mon- 1.5 hr brisk work 6 miles
Tue-3 hr 15 miles easy trots.. long walks up the hills
Wed 2 hr 8 miles easy slow walks up hils easy trots
Thr 3 hr 15 miles faster trots some canter hr limted to 150.. strong trots

slow walks home-- its 1.5 mile road work home when we come off the
mtn.
Fri .. he copped an attitude.. like 'i dont want to work today' but his
desire to please and a willing can do attitude he did 9 miles in 2hrs with a
slow walk up hill then stong works and some canter on top.. he got stronger
into the work..

all revcoveries were less then 60 after 10 -- on arrival back at barn.. but
this was not fair on the longer rides since we walked home the last 1.5 mi

he never quit or refused to go on any of the works.

off sat sun

today - a horse of a different attitude.. STRONG-- really pushing in to the
trot UP the long hill full trot HR 145 to 155 really found out about
extension..
no canter ..the climb on this trail - dirt road is 2.5 miles --second gear in
my truck.. a good pull..
resp a bit high -- hot humid.. but recovered to hr 60 in about 2 min..
worked for a 3 more miles on top.. nice trots then home..

this boy is getting there..
his reoveries and working pulses are almost too good to true..he was trotting
easy down hill going home at 64.. none of my others can do that..

I have to watch it .. since he is NOT really fit.. so its a false indicator.
This one is a natural.. not a lot of flash or extra work.. just get the job
done..

This weekend he goes on a slow NATRC 2 day CP 40 miler/ 20 each day.. no
biggie.. just want to show him new trails and learn how to pace.. in control
..and camp out with the big boys..

He is the best horse I ever had.. I would buy a field full of these Shagyas
if I could get them for what I paid for this boy.. a real steal -- less
then bred fee..
and he is Arab SS-- OMAN was approved IAHA SS Sire this year

OMAN made it 80 miles on Tevis Forest Hill??? I think

SO If you can bred to OMAN.. no other Shagya can compare.. he is the base
stallion in the US.
