If you are trying to stand in your stirrups keep two things in mind. One if you
are not centered and your horse shys or steps into a slight dip in the trail you
will see the view going off his shoulder. Two. Hunters and jujpers have mastered
this seat and it is quite comfortable but it takes its toll on your legs thighs
especially. If you do squats or deep knee exercises you'll strengthen your legs
so it will feel comforable riding like this. Make sure you are centered is the
key. For your sake but mostly for the horses. Beware of ochy withers if you are
riding his shoulders and not in the proper position. The above reasons are why I
have to take herbal meds to make me comforable so I can ride. That and the gene
pool needed more clorine!!Good luck. Hope my 2cents helps. Reggie
