Hi there,

riding a falling horse can be extremely dangerous, therefore I would
recommend to get a specific examination as soon as possible.
I have a friend, who's horse was diagnosed with narcolepsia <sp?>, means
the poor guy will fall down on his knees eventually as if fallen asleep out
of a sudden, either in the pasture or even being ridden!!

As far as I know it is not clear what causes this disease or if it is a
problem of inheritage, best might be to get the horse examined and talk to
the vet...

Good luck,

Katja
