Hi Glenda,

There has been one treat that helps me decide whether or not to buy the
horse I'm trying out--Ginger Snaps!

Every horse that I've owned that has been a delightful, cooperative and
gentle has enjoyed Ginger Snaps. They took to the taste without spitting
them out and then pushing them around the ground or stomping them into the
ground.

There was one horse in particular that I owned who hated the cookies. I
think he felt the same about me since he dumped me a few times!

We also found that popsicles are enjoyed (without the sticks!)

But most of all cookies, cereal (Chex, Life, etc.)

I know sugar cubes causes some horses to get aggressive; but I usually have
Lifesavers (mint or fruit--plus they fit in the pocket!) and will offer one
of those to Beau.

Pat
