people and their horses. I have spent this summer gleaning info from you
generous contributors, attended 2 rides--one with beautiful weather and
exceptional trail conditions (a horse could go barefoot!) and the other was
a cold rainy mess.

When I attend my first ride next spring I hope to be able to:

1. know what to take for me and my horse

2. how to safely go up and down steep hills (we don't have any here)

3. how to take care of my horse

4.have my horse and I NOT look like newbies so that the rest of you won't be
scared to ride near us

5. etc.

If anything you good people offer up from your experiences fits me and/or my
horse, I'll most likely give it a try.

The people on this list server are the closest some of us get to real live
endurance riders. Can't go asking authors of books half the questions that
get asked and answered here.

My thanks to all of you. You will share the credit when one day Pat and her
Beau complete a ride in fine shape and condition.

Good luck at the Tevis.

Pat
