Subject: Fly masks and Ears.

I've been using the crochet type of ear net when I drive my mare for years.

I used one today on my "don't go near my ears" young gelding. Now I'm
wondering how to sew TWO together to cover the poll of his neck. Once he
realized that the deer flies weren't actually biting, he was SO much happier.

By the way, don't do what I did once with my mare -- I managed to put the
ear net on with some gnats still in her ears. She was awfully good about
it, but she sure was disgusted with me!!

RE: anti-static sheets you use in the dryer (Bounce, Cling Free, whatever).
No I haven't had first hand experience yet, but I sure will by the end of
tomorrow!!
