You could try giving Natalie at Natalie's Barn and breakfast acall, or
drop her an e-mail. She probably has seen your message and replied to you
directly by now. Look on www.foothill.net for more info. Also you might be
able to stay at Folsom Lake state recreation area. Call 916-988-0205 for
info during the daytime hours. Granite Bay has a nice horsemen's asembly
area with tables and barbeque pit, not on their list of official campsites
but I know people do use it for overnight horse camping from time to time.
Tell them you want to stay at Granite Bay Horse Assembly overnight because
the people won't know what to do since it's not listed as an official
campsite. To get there you take I80 to Roseville, exit at Douglass Blvd,
head east for about 6 miles. It's a straight line from the freeway.
