Well it's nearly time for the 4th annual Cedar Creek Ride. I'm the ride
Manager, (and other sundry, assorted jobs), so I'm scurrying around
getting the final Details done.
The trails are marked, the Maps are nearly Ready to print and we
are nearly ready to start welcoming our Riders into the Camp on Thursday.
I have had a great deal of help and most of it are people who
contact me wanting to Volunteer! I'm really lucky with the Local folks
who take this ride on as their own personal project.
The Trails are Drying out, No bogs, just some sections of gummy
sticky mud. The wild flowers are beautiful, and the trees and other
Foliage is Green and Lush. The weather is supposed to be in the Low 80's
(HOORAY) with no rain. The nights are to cool into the 60's which is
wonderful. The Humidity is also dropping.
I hope you all will be able to come to the ride. We will have
Catered Meals for those of you who hate to cook. And we always have a GOOD
time. If you are interested in Volunteering we can always use another
hand. The ride is this weekend, 7-5&6, in the Cedar Creek Ranger District
of the Mark Twain National Forest. This is 10 miles south of Columbia MO.
Any one with More Questions e-mail me privately. Hope to see some of you
here!!
