I don't understand why someone DOESNT want to be there when their horses
are having ANYTHING done to them. (Farrier, vet work, etc) If a problem
is found that you may not have known about the farrier/ vet is right
there to explain, you are there to hold the horse, you also want to be
there to SEE what is being done, and the farrier/ vet wants you there so
that you can't blame them for something wrong with the horse that may
show up the next day that had nothing to do with the visit. There are
just too many reasons! Besides, I know my horse wouldn't be as calm for
all this work if I am not around. (She is a major worry wart.)
