What was most noticeable at this years OD was - for the lack of a better
term - family. It went something like "that is a hell of a trail and we
all have to get through it together". The vet staff was absolutely
wonderful - great job Lani. Forcing the vets to see the trail was a great
idea. Management did things this year that the riders didn't even notice
but which made a difference. Placing two of the best vets in the country,
Nancy Loving and Jeannie Waldron at strategic points within the first 10
miles of the ride - just in case of an early ride tie up - is ride
management next to none I have ever seen.

I have some unfinished business with that trail so I will surly be back -
especially with the new attitude of the OD orginzation.
