OOOH !!!!what a touch subject!! Is there anything more personal than
someones' animal and their capabilities?? I for one can't stand it when
friends bring their dogs on trail......only because these dogs in particular
are always underfoot!!!They do help in de-spooking a horse, but gees' what a
nuisance at a trot.....!!!!! As far as Rhodesians' go....I have them and
know they can do the distance,,,,I always feel guilty when I bring my saddle
out....they know they aren't going. They are hunters and protectors....bred
for almost two hundred years to keep their master safe......I never knowingly
put my RR's in that position to be confused....so they don't get to go on the
trail.....at least with my guys, I have seen what has happened when the
hunter/protector is loose.............

Flame if needed
