here is the dope:The legend of the bloody shoulder is
a mare gives birth in the middle of a raid on an enemy
camp.The new born foal is stabbed in the shoulder and
abandoned by a Bedouin warrior who wants to make a
fast escape. However, the foal finds its way home in the
dark of night, and the next morning is discovered standing
next to the dam, miraculously healed, with only a blood
red marking where the wound had occured.Believing the
foal's appearance and complete recovery to be a sign from
Allah, the warrior becomes humbled and raises the foal as
a treasured gift from the Almighty.
