July 19, 1997

AGENDA FOR WEEKEND ACTIVITIES
July 18, 1997 - PRE-RIDE
10 A. M. Participants' Ride Packages available at Ride Management
table(s) near the Mansfield Arena. Late entrants MUST observe signs for
orderly preparation of entry application and payment of any charges.
ALL RIDERS be sure to bring the signed "drug disclosure" form. PLEASE
DO NOT BRING YOUR MOUNT TO THE RIDE MANAGEMENT TABLE AREA.

11 A. M. Veterinary examination starts and continues until 5 P. M.
Proceed to the Mansfield Arena for orderly check-in with management and
direction to veterinary examination position. You MUST bring all tack
with you because the final step after successful veterinary examination
will be weigh-in (ALL participants MUST WEIGH IN) and numbers applied to
your mount.

11:00 A. M. Limited lunch (hamburgers, hotdogs & cold drinks) available
for purchase from AUBURN HOST LIONS CLUB ...look for the food concession
near Mansfield Arena or as designated.

4:00 P. M. Pre-Ride Bar-B-Que dinner, prepared by AUBURN HOST LIONS
CLUB, starts serving near "the MEADOW". Purchase tickets from the
ticket vendor staffed by the LIONS CLUB...$10 for the finest pre-ride
dinner ever.

6:00 P. M. PRE-RIDE BRIEFING and question/answer period. ALL
participants are REQUIRED TO ATTEND. We suggest that crew members also
attend this important meeting so that last minute issues can be made
available to all. PLEASE BRING A CHAIR.

July 19, 1997 - RIDE DAY

4:45 A. M. Participants assemble near START area and check numbers with
timers.

5:00 A. M. RIDE STARTS! Have a safe and pleasant ride to Auburn.

5:15 A. M. ALL Participants MUST depart Robie Equestrian Park as
observed by Timers...NO EXCEPTIONS.

5:16 A. M. TevSweep Riders depart behind last participant.

July 20, 1997 - POST RIDE

5:00 A. M. Ride cut-off time at Western States Staging Area, Auburn.

8:00 A. M. Breakfast available for purchase at Mc Cann
Stadium...prepared by the Native Sons of the Golden West.

10:00 A. M. Haggin Cup evaluation at Mc Cann Stadium

1:00 P. M. Awards banquet starts in the Farrell Wrenn Park area of the
Gold Country Fairgrounds. Rider's entry fee includes ticket. Purchase
additional tickets at "door" - $13, kids 12 and under just $6.00

3:00 P. M. Awards presentation. NEXT EVENT: AUGUST 8, 1998
