Hey, I too started out as a junior rider too... well, sorta.

OK, so I was 18... but Maryben and Bing wrote "Junior" and
other evil stuff in orange, red, blue, and green grease marker
all over Dusty-the-Great at my first ride. :) Then I finished
college and got me a job writing "important computer stuff" so I
could afford me a horse to ride endurance!

Back then, since I was not allowed a job, and since I did not have
an allowance, my mom paid the entry fees. Since she paid the
entry fees, she decided that any awards I got belonged to her.
She still has them and won't give them to me. Isn't that weird?

Personally, I think there should also be a discount for owners of
rescued decrepid old TB ex-race horses. ;-)
