Tony and bruising.....

okay guys - what's the poop on bruising on the foot? that seems to be all
there is on Tony's foot - no abcess - at least can't see one - I guess one
could come out later. This very, very slight off-ness I've felt a few times
over the last few weeks leads me to believe that the bruise may have occured
the Bankhead ride (50 miles on gravel road) - the bruising is on the frog
mainly - the only exposed part of the foot with the equithotics on.

Anyway, what's weird is I rode 25 miles last weekend and none too slow and
felt nothing -then did 9 miles on great terrain this weekend and blam!

Farrier thinks maybe bruise was there and healing and we just happenend to
hit it again on the trail - reason for sudden lameness.

Suggested using venice of turpentine (?) in a 3 on/3 off schedule for a week
to draw out the soreness. If he's not over it by then something else may be
going on...

Dunno, he sure seemed awfully lame for it to just be minor bruising.....

what do you guys know/think about bruising of the frog/sole? Never had this
happen before...

Course I'm sure if I weren't worried about crap happening it wouldn't,
right? :-)
