Stalls,multiday rides

Boxstalls: we use shavings(not enough money yet for mats)usually after a
major cleaning you lime or better yet use Sweet PDZ(follow directions on
the bag)that really deodorizes a stall the best I've seen and then clean
the wet spots daily(with more Sweet PDZ)and obviously muck out the poop
daily and the old hay etc etc.
I am planning on doing a two day 100 in late August -do you feed any
differently back in camp to prepare for the next day? I plan on riding at a
moderate pace depending on the heat--I am more interested in finishing with
lots of horse for the next day(this ride with be north of
Birmingham,Alabama)> I also plan to make sure we train in the mid day
heat(which can be miserable here-Georgia),get portable corral---oh by the
way-any opinions about portable electrics???? But any advice or hints would
be appreciated
Thanks Penelope
