I have always had good luck with anything containing "Trypsin".
Currently I have an aerosol spray called Medi-Zyme from Farnam.

M gelding has just completely healed from a deep cut about 1.5" x1" on
the front shin. I bandaged each day to keep clean, then rubbed clean
with a dampened cloth and reapplied. New hair came right in with the
new skin. Looks great now.
