Bask horses and trailer rigs

My horse Basknserafix has been used for ctr and endurance. He is a wonderful
horse for ctr and limited distance. He is laid back at home , so conditioning
is tough and we also live in the flatlands, doubly tough but he always does
well at rides. Have run into a number of other Basks at rides and they are
consistent "good finishers." He revs himself up at a ride but is
well-mannered, kind, and forgiving of my occasional mistakes. I love him.

I have been reading notes of hauling and I have a 2 horse bumper pull,
thoroughbred height trailer that I pull with my v8 Grand Jeep cherokee. I
only haul one horse and I usually travel by myself and so far, have had no
difficulties even when going up steep mts. in Vermont. Hope it stays that
way. I must admit that had I the money I would look at a Tahoe just for the
longer wheelbase. But the hitch is solid and I am cautious about maintaining
brakes and such. Sandy
