I NEVER tie in the trailer..the Joe Long story when his whole rig fillped
over many years ago is when I stopped tieing..
Our trailer has TWO exits- side and rear..by design
I can get both out in the event of a problem..wreck etc.
Our rig is a two slot slant. can load front or REAR slant loaded.

I also dont tie in the 2 horse std trailer.. never had a problem.
