Hi all Ridecampers I have a question that I have been worring about and was
hopping that some of you could help me solve this problem with your advice!!
My 7 year old Arabian Gelding ( who previously had 3 1/2 years of Dressage
training ) shows an inlargement in a vein on his fetlock ( ankle ) at the
lower portion of it. This swelling is I think the Digital Artery, I think
it's to low to be Windpuffs. The swelling is equal on all 4 legs and shows no
heat. Do any of you have this problem?? At first I though I had over worked
him but gave him a week of and it didn't show ANY change. I never noticed
this when he did Dressage because 1 I wasn't as observent of his legs and
also he was polo wraped everyday so it probably decressed the size of the
vein. Anyways, my question is.....is this a problem????/ I greatly appreciate
any advice....THANKS SO MUCH!!!!!!!
